Decision Making:
Decision making is the process of making choices by identifying a decision, gathering information, and assessing alternative resolutions. Using a step-by-step decision-making process can help you make more deliberate, thoughtful decisions by organizing relevant information and defining alternatives. This approach increases the chances that you will choose the most satisfying alternative possible. It is a challenge to take a decision and sometimes you would have to overthink a problem to find a solution to a problem. taking a decision can be caused by consequences and so you have to think about your decisions carefully. There are 4 essential steps you need to take before making your decision. the first one is to identify the decision and that is done by recognizing the problem or opportunity and deciding to address the problem. Also, think about the consequences that would occur if took that decision. Secondly, gather as much information as you can. That would help you analyze the problem more and try to take a decision based on the data or information you gathered. The third step is to identify an alternative. Try to think of alternative solutions to your problem and this might give you more options in solving the problem you are facing. The fourth step is to weigh the evidence and in this step, you’ll need to “evaluate for feasibility, acceptability, and desirability” to identify which of your alternative solutions is the best and according to experts Phil Higson and Anthony Sturgess people who chose can select between different opinions have the highest chance of succeeding. The fifth step is choosing between alternatives. Now it is time to make a decision and you have to consider all the consequences due to the decision you took and the last step is review the decision. in the last step, you should look at the decision you took and see how effective it was to solve your problem. Reviewing your decision helps to find how if you need more time to think about decision making and ask yourself if you did well or not.
Safety:
Workplace safety is very important for every employee in any company. All companies should ensure a safe and healthy environment for their employees and they are responsible for their employees' safety. Also when it comes to employing new employers all companies, in any field, should make sure that all their staff have been well trained and are capable of taking the job. So why is safety important in the workplace? Awareness is a key factor in safety and many employees do not bother taking into consideration any hazards in the workplace and do not follow the safety procedures in the workplace. As a result, injuries or death might occur in any workplace. Moreover, all employees shouldn't attend work if they are not feeling well and the company should ensure that all employees have reasonable working schedules. Working long hour isn't healthy as people lose focus and they become less efficient in the workplace. All companies have the responsibility of supplying their employees with safety pieces of equipment and ensure that they are well trained on how to use them. I think that safety is a crucial factor all companies should consider and ensure that all employees are aware of the safety protocols in all workplaces.
