During the week prior I had a group presentation in a subject called Engineering communication and every group member was preparing his part to present in the tutorial. we had a couple of meeting to sort out the presentation and practice our speech. The presentation was about different ways to improve the water system in Vanuatu. Vanuatu is an island nation located in the romantic South Pacific. It is located east of Australia, north-east of New Caledonia, west of Fiji and south of the Solomon. the aim of the presentation was to come up with different ideas on how to improve the water service in the nation and so each group member had his own idea and we combined all these ideas in a powerpoint document. the day of the presentation came and one of the group members did not show up in the tutorial. we all did not know that he was not coming and so we had a problem with who is going to present his part. All of the group forced me to do his part in the presentation even though I was not ready. I did not know anything about his topic and I was afraid to let my group down. I then went online and tried to read some articles about his and understand the concept behind it. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to read through his topic and I had to present his part myself. while I was presenting I looked nerves and I was not sure of all the information I was giving to my classmates. Also, we had to answer questions from other students and I did not look confident at all when I was answering questions related to the topic. Even though my group thought I did a good job and I did cover his part perfectly.
